In the lands of Willowdell, where dozens of streams crisscross each other in meandering paths and the gardens burst with good things to eat, the gnomes have a particularly gourd-geous look to them.
Gnumpkin is a very pumpkin-y gnome. Gnettle takes that pumpkin-y base and adds a witchy look. Gnumpkin and Gnettle are like fraternal twins - similar, but different. They are fundamentally the same pattern, but a few changes create a big personality difference. Perhaps Gnettle is Gnumpkin dressed up for Halloween? Or Gnumpkin is the unassuming secret identity for Gnettle when she’s not saving the world? Or perhaps they’re just really close cousins.
Either way, they’re similar enough to be the same pattern but different enough to deserve their own place on your shelf if you want to knit both.
Yarn Kit Choices
Team Witch and Team Pumpkin Minis are both 22 gram mini skeins of Fingering 80/20. Each skein is approximately 85 yards/ 75 meters. Each kit includes 3 mini skeins of yarn.
Team Tweedy is 20 gram skeins of Tweedy Sock with a neutral nep. Each skein is approximately 87 yards/ 80 meters. Each kit includes 3 mini skeins of yarn.
Colourways in Kits
Team Tweedy is Off the Vine, Good as Gold and Blood Orange.
Team Pumpkin is Highlighter Green, Clementine and Lustrous.
Team Witch is Merlot, Driftwood and Mushy Peas.
How does it work?
You’ll get 6 updates during October. These will tell you what to work on next. Sometimes the update will have the same file for Gnumpkin and Gnettle, and some times they'll each have a separate file.
There will be video tutorials for all the parts I think you might want help with. I want this to be all joy, no worries.
Because Gnumpkin and Gnettle are a mystery gnomes, I can't tell you much about them. The 'skills used' listed below will give you a bit of a sense of what you'll be doing, but don't get intimidated. It's all just knitting, and you'll be great at it. Plus wonkiness is gnominess.

Processing Times
- Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1-3 business days (Tuesday to Friday, excluding posted holiday closures).
- All items are ready to ship unless there is an error in inventory. If there is an extended delay I will reach out right away to advise the hold up.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
- International orders (this includes any shipping address outside of Canada) may be subject to custom fees, import duties, or local taxes upon arrival. These charges are out of my hands and the responsibility of the buyer.
- Please be prepared for these charges before placing your order so items will be returned to us at your expense.
Lost or Delayed Packages
- Once an order leaves the shop, deliver times are out of my control.
- If your package is delayed, please check your tracking number first.
- If you feel your package is lost, contact myself and the courier.

Shipping is complimentary for purchases over $140 (unless stated differently in the product description). All orders are shipped using ClickShip or Canada Post Expediated.
