We are incredibly excited to welcome Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes as our Saturday instructor. Sarah is known around the world for her whimsical gnome patterns, each one full of personality, storytelling, and adventure. Her beloved mystery knit-alongs and imaginative designs keep knitters coming back time and time again.
Sarah will be with us all weekend, but Saturday will feature two special classes led by her:
- Morning Class: A beginner-friendly introduction to gnome knitting. Perfect if you’ve been wanting to dive into the world of gnomes — and even experienced gnome knitters will find inspiration learning from the creator herself.
- Afternoon Class: A more advanced class for those looking to build on their skills and techniques. If you’re a newer knitter, don’t be afraid to sit in and learn something new — sometimes the best way to grow is to jump in and try.
Camp Yarn Habit takes place at a rustic summer camp style facility with cozy cabins tucked near the lake. The dining hall and wash house (bathrooms and showers) are separate buildings, something important to keep in mind when registering. Full accommodation details will be included on the registration forms.

At That Yarn Habit, I do my best to get your yarn into your hands quickly and saely so you can cast on without delay!
Processing Times
- Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1-3 business days (Tuesday to Friday, excluding posted holiday closures).
- All items are ready to ship unless there is an error in inventory. If there is an extended delay I will reach out right away to advise the hold up.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
- International orders (this includes any shipping address outside of Canada) may be subject to custom fees, import duties, or local taxes upon arrival. These charges are out of my hands and the responsibility of the buyer.
- Please be prepared for these charges before placing your order so items will be returned to us at your expense.
Lost or Delayed Packages
- Once an order leaves the shop, deliver times are out of my control.
- If your package is delayed, please check your tracking number first.
- If you feel your package is lost, contact myself and the courier.

Complimentary Shipping
Shipping is complimentary for purchases over $140 (unless stated differently in the product description). All orders are shipped using ClickShip or Canada Post Expediated. Once packages are received by courier, unfortunately they are out of my hands. Arrival dates are estimated and no longer guaranteed. If you do have any issues or concerns, I am happy to try to help.
